The Total Video Converter (TVC) is a great video downloader and conversion software. Downloading and converting your videos is very easy, as long as you have a computer that has a built in Media Player. If you use the free Microsoft Media Player, then you can use the converter for free. If you want to purchase the converter, it is a one time fee.
You do not need to register to use the free version. All you need to do is download the program and run it. On the next screen, choose a download location. You are given the option of doing a local or a global search for media files. Select a location and click the start button. The download and converting process begin automatically. You will be presented with a list of items that need to be converted.
This application uses flash files to display video on your screen. When you choose a file to download, then you click the buttons to convert the file. You can change the format that you want to download by clicking the little icons that appear on the left side of the video player. Click one of the icons to select the format and click the next button. You can also resize the video to be downloaded. Click the start button and the video is now ready to be played.
